Please encourage your child to learn their weekly spellings. They can practice these by writing the words into sentences (purple exercise book) and by completing the handwriting sheet as part of our weekly home learning.
We try to build ‘quizzing’ time into our week as much as possible. Please continue to encourage your child to read. Below you can find a link which provides information on how parents can help their Year 6 child with reading. There is also a link for recommended reads for this age group.
All children are allowed to bring a named water bottle into school. This should only contain water.
