This week the Seals have been learning all about animals!

Niamh made the most of the better weather this week with a trip to the zoo. Here are some of the animals she saw.

Can you guess what they are?

Eddie completed a brilliant piece of work on Emperor penguins. These are the facts that Eddie found out when researching them.

🐧 The Emperor penguin is the largest penguin standing at more than one metre tall when fully grown.

🐧 Emperor penguins live in Antarctica.

🐧 Emperor penguins eat fish.

🐧 Emperor penguins often huddle together to keep warm in the cold.

🐧 Emperor penguins can stay underwater for around 20 minutes!

Sticking with animals, take a look at William’s sentences. He has tried really hard with his handwriting this week and has made great progress!

Eleni has been doing some measuring maths work, comparing the volume of two glasses.

She measured the volume of teaspoons and tablespoons and worked out how many of each are needed to make a certain amount.

This is just some of the fantastic examples of home learning from this week. Well done to all our home learners!
